Meeples & More is a welcoming space for Villages residents who enjoy modern board games — the kind that make you think, plan, and laugh together.
We focus on strategic titles like Ticket to Ride, Azul, and Wingspan — easy to learn, yet engaging every time you play.
Whether you’re brand-new to hobby games or an experienced player, you’ll find friendly people and a good challenge at every table.
How It Works
How It Works
We meet every Monday at 6:00 p.m. at Water Lily Recreation Center.
Each session features one “Game of the Month” plus a few easy-to-learn favorites.
Bring a friend, bring a game, or just bring yourself — we’ll teach you!
Games are chosen for strategy and fun — not luck — so every session is engaging and different.
We focus on keeping things welcoming and relaxed. Our goal is simple: to enjoy good company and great games.

Game of the Month
July’s feature is Ticket to Ride — an award-winning railway adventure where players collect train cards, claim routes across the map, and complete destination tickets to connect cities. It’s easy to learn, welcoming to new players, and offers just the right amount of strategy.
Every decision matters. Do you race to claim an important route, collect more cards for a longer connection, or take a chance on one more destination ticket? Balancing your plans while adapting to other players keeps every game exciting.
One of Ticket to Ride’s greatest strengths is how approachable it is. New players can learn the basics in just a few minutes, while experienced players continue discovering new strategies with every game.
Whether you’re brand new to modern board games or have years of experience, Ticket to Ride is a perfect introduction to the hobby and a game you’ll be happy to play again and again.
