Meeples & More is a welcoming space for Villages residents who enjoy modern board games — the kind that make you think, plan, and laugh together.
We focus on strategic titles like Ticket to Ride, Azul, and Wingspan — easy to learn, yet engaging every time you play.
Whether you’re brand-new to hobby games or an experienced player, you’ll find friendly people and a good challenge at every table.
How It Works
How It Works
We meet every Monday at 6:00 p.m. at Manatee Recreation Center.
Each session features one “Game of the Month” plus a few easy-to-learn favorites.
Bring a friend, bring a game, or just bring yourself — we’ll teach you!
Games are chosen for strategy and fun — not luck — so every session is engaging and different.
We focus on keeping things welcoming and relaxed. Our goal is simple: to enjoy good company and great games.

Game of the Month
March’s feature is Wingspan — a beautifully illustrated, engine-building strategy game where players attract birds to their wildlife preserves to score the most points.
It’s easy to learn in about ten minutes, but offers layers of strategy as you build combinations of birds, food, eggs, and habitats. The stunning artwork and peaceful theme make it welcoming for new players, while the strategic depth keeps experienced gamers engaged.
